Internet Nebraska is now offering Direct Payment
What is Direct Payment?
Internet Nebraska offers a Direct Payment Plan. The US Federal Reserve
describes direct payment in its Consumer's Guide publication:
Direct payment is an efficient electronic payment alternative
to paper checks. Instead of writing a check, your bank will
automatically make the payment on a predetermined date. It's
that simple.
Why use Direct Payment?
Direct payment is easier and reduces costs. The US Federal Reserve
writes:
Consumers save time preparing payments, save money on postage
and check fees, improve their budgeting, eliminate the chance
of late payment, and save time balancing their bank statement.
Direct payment also reduces our operating costs. Direct payment costs less
than processing a paper check or credit-card debit. This enables us to
continue to offer high-quality services at low prices.
Does the customer retain control of payments?
With our Direct Payment Plan, you remain in full control of your account and
payments. Internet Nebraska provides you notice of all charges. With direct
payment you can hold or stop a transfer with timely notice to your financial
institution, you retain complete control over the reversal process, and you can
revoke the authorization at any time. Customer satisfaction is a high priority
at Internet Nebraska --- we are members of the Better Business Bureau and you
have our personal guarantee that we work to resolve all problems, including
billing problems, to our customers' satisfaction.
